Ajay Devgn and Tabu have done around 9-10 films together and they make a great on-screen pair. Now they’re sharing screen space for Neeraj Pandey‘s ‘What was in the orange‘, which is a romantic musical. As the duo launched the film’s trailer in the city on Thursday, they shed light on mature love stories and doing romance in their 50s.
Tabu expressed gratitude to Pandey for even thinking about this and casting them.“Romance does not only belong to the young or a certain age group. I don’t think there is any barrier when you talk about romance, love, and relationships. Actually the film is more about a relationship than love and romance I feel. And human relationships are the most interesting thing that have lent themselves to cinema,” she said at the trailer launch.
She further added that there is no end to where relationships can be taken and love and romance are a part of human relationships. Ajay infact, feels that love and feelings become deeper with time.
At the trailer launch event, Tabu was also asked about the success of her last film ‘Crew‘ and if it would make producers to make more of these female oriented subjects. But even before Tabu could answer, Ajay said, “There is no such thing as courage. Everybody is doing it already. Films keep coming where women take the lead. It has got nothing to do with courage. It just depends on a good script. If there is a good story with a strong female lead, they make it.”
