Ranjeeta renowned villain from Bollywood’s yesteryears, reminisces about a time when he had to create his own dialogues. He expresses his inability to watch OTT shows and contemporary films due to what he perceives as their ‘bold’ and ‘vulgar’ content.
In an interview with ANI, Ranjeet mentioned that during the pandemic, he watched only a couple of web seriesone Indian and the rest international, focusing on history.However, he stopped watching OTT shows afterward due to what he described as excessive vulgarity and profanity. He expressed discomfort watching such content in front of his staff or family.

Discussing the bold content in contemporary films, Ranjeet remarked on what he perceives as a shift from authentic scenes to the inclusion of item numbers and molestation sequences. He contrasted this with the past, citing instances where cabaret dances by actresses like Bindu and Helen were graceful. Additionally, he praised Waheeda Rehman‘s elegant dance sequence in ‘Guide.’ Ranjeet noted that while profanity existed in films from his era, it was limited to terms like “ullu ka pattha” (idiot) or “haramzada” (bastard), without going beyond those boundaries.
