Last week, the internet was left gushing over photos and videos of Bollywood‘s evergreen beauty Rekhabending down and kissing pregnant actress Richa Chadha‘s baby bump. The adorable exchange, captured at the star-studded Heeramandi premiere, became the talk of the town.
Now, in a recent chat with Hindustan Times, the actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Ali Fazal, opened up about the same.Reflecting on the sweet moment on the red carpetRicha best described it as a “truly magical” experience.
Revealing what led to the sweet moment, the mommy-to-be shared, “She hugged me and looked at me, sensing my baby bump as I was in my seventh month. She said, ‘Oh my God, this is such a blessing. May I?'”
Richa, couldn’t refuse the legend and replied, “Of course!”
Sharing her thoughts on her baby’s moment with Rekha, she said, “It’s incredible for my child to receive blessings from a legend!”
The actress, who is also a part of the web series’ ensemble cast, shared that after the screening, she embraced Rekha and became emotional because her character in the web show has a tragic storyline. She said that receiving the actress’ words of appreciation was “the ultimate validation”.
