There are so many dreams that you realize are not going to happen, and you make peace with that. Motherhood is one of them”

Despite considering adoption, she recognized her predisposition to stress and anxiety, ultimately opting to cherish her role as a godmother. As of now she is more focused on her aging parents and said being the center of their universe, she now enjoys flying to Kathmandu, Nepal more than ever.

Recalling her battle with stage IV ovarian cancer in 2012 and subsequent recovery, she expressed gratitude for the second chance at life and the invaluable lessons gleaned from life’s highs and lows.
