The film on its first day took a massive start in its home country of US $ 22 million which includes the preview figures of US $ 6.6 million.And the film is expected to mint between US $ 52 million to US $ 56 million over the weekend. The big screen experience is a sequel to the 2017 hit film ‘War of the Planet of the Apes‘ and takes place after 300 years. And going by the internationa buzz the film has taken a very good start in India as well.
After earning Rs 3.15 crore on its opening day, the film saw a jump of more than 39 % to collect Rs 4.37 crore on Saturday as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 5.52 crore of which Rs 3.49 crore came from English version and rest from Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. This Hollywood film is facing competition from Rajkummar Rao’s latest film ‘Srikanth‘ which also earned in the vicinity of Rs 4 crore on Saturday.
The film stars Freya Allan, Kevin DurandPeter Macon, William H Macy and Karin Konoval.
