This big screen entertainer is a sequel to the 2017 hit film ‘War of the Planet of the Apes’ and takes place 300 years after it.In India, ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ released parallelly with Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Srikanth’ and both films are having similar trajectory at the box office. Over its first weekend, the Hollywood franchise earned Rs 11.70 crore and on Monday it remained steady to add another Rs 1.63 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The total collection of ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ now stands at Rs 13.33 crore, of which Rs 5.65 crore were collected from English and Rs 5.42 crore came from the Hindi versions, while the remaining contribution was from Tamil and Telugu languages.
