In a recent conversation with Vogue, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opened up about her first Cannes lookrevealing that her close friends, Shane and Falguni Peacockwere the creative minds behind it.She explained that the dress was conceptualized to convey a ‘gilded glow,’ but to her, it ultimately felt ‘magical.’ When it came to her makeup, the aim was to achieve a ‘fresh look’ while keeping it ‘easy’ and ‘beautiful.’

For her debut appearance at Cannes 2024Aishwarya Rai chose a black and white gown adorned with golden 3D flowers. According to the designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock, the black silhouette was meant to reflect Aishwarya’s timeless aura, while the gold detailing symbolized her illustrious career journey.
