Madgaon Express box office collection day 4: Kunal Kemmu’s film gets Holi boost, shows improved performance | Hindi Movie News

Kunal Kemmu‘s directorial debut Madgaon Expressfeaturing Pratik Gandhi, Divyennduand Avinash Tiwaryhas garnered a mixed response from audiences and critics alike at the box office.
The film, which revolves around the journey of three childhood friends on a trip to Goa gone wrong, opened to over Rs 7 crore in its opening weekend. However, its overall performance has been moderate, with a small boost observed during the Holi festival.
According to Sacnilk, Madgaon Express is expected to earn Rs 2.35 crore on its fourth day, with an overall 22.25 per cent Hindi occupancy on its first Monday. The Holi festival has contributed to the film’s improved collections, boosting its total box office earnings to Rs 9.4 crore.
While the movie saw its best collections in Maharashtra, supported by local audiences, its performance outside the state has been relatively subdued, indicating limited appeal beyond Maharashtra’s borders.

On Monday, Kunal took to social media to express gratitude to the cast and crew of Madgaon Express for their efforts in making the film special. He also thanked viewers for their support and wished everyone a happy Holi.

Madgaon Express features Nora Fatehi, Pendra Limayeand Chhaya Kadam in supporting roles, adding to the ensemble cast led by Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Avinash Tiwary.
Kunal, known for his acting credits in films like Kalyug, Go Goa Gone, and Lootcase, has also penned the story of Madgaon Express, showcasing his versatility as both an actor and now a director in Bollywood.
