Sushmita Sen has been open about her personal life, be it her doting daughters or her romantic relationship. Years ago, the actress had revealed how her life has been shaped by her relationshipswhether with men, women, or children, and the feelings she was left with after failed romantic relationships.
During her appearance on Rendezvous with Simi Garewalthe host mentioned that she has “loved and lost many times” and asked if she still felt as passionate about relationships as previously. And the former beauty queen had stated, “The more relationships you have, the more you grow in relation too.”
“I am so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life, who have left at the right time for me to grow,” Sushmita said, noting that she wasn’t talking only about the people she had dated. But when Simi asked her specifically about the men in her life, Sushmita continued, “They’re all such amazing people, amazing men, and so wrong for me!”
Simi stated that Sushmita could have been married ‘two or three times’ but decided not to. Sushmita explained that it was all for the best. “I’ve been very lucky. There have been times when I could have made a mistake, but something, somewhere has gone wrong, and told me in no uncertain words that ‘this is wrong, this will not work out’. And then, with as much dignity left, I have managed to walk away from it,” she said.
Further she stated wisely, “Celebrating yourself has to come from you first. Why wait for somebody else to celebrate you?”
Recently, the ‘Aarya’ actress announced that she parted ways with her boyfriend model Rohman Shawl. She wrote in an Instagram post, “We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains!!”
