In 2023, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor collaborated for the first time for ‘Bawaal.’ On the one hand, where the movie helped them garner love, on the other hand, it also gave them a platform to bond with each other. Thus, their relationship bloomed from just being co-stars to being friends. And it is perhaps their friendship only that gave Jahnvi Kapoor a chance to take a funny dig at Varun publicly when she noticed the actor hadn’t paid attention to his shoelaces.
It all happened over an Instagram post. Taking to his social media hand, the ever-dashing Varun Dhawan posted two pictures. In the first one, he wore a brown knitted t-shirt with dark pants, complemented with sunglasses, and in the second one, he added a formal touch with a matching coat. On top of that was the endearing smile of the soon-to-be father. When he posted the picture, his fans couldn’t resist his charm; however, it woke up the Sherlock Homes inside of Janhvi Kapoor who noticed that in the second photograph, Varun’s laces aren’t tied up.

Then what? She took to the comment section to let the actor know about it publicly as she wrote “Tie ur laces.” Varun soon noticed the quick wit of the ‘Dhadak’ star and replied with a fun emoji.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of ‘Baby John.’ He will also be engaging the audience with his OTT series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ (a spin-off of the American series ‘Citadel’). Janhvi on the other hand will soon be seen making her South debut with ‘Devara: Part 1.’ Besides this, she has ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi,’ with Rajkummar Rao and Abhishek Banerjee.
