While pre-production work has begun, filming for ‘Don 3’ is scheduled for the following year. A source told India Today that the production has been aligned to commence in 2025.Farhan Akhtar previously stated the intention to announce the film in advance to avoid unfounded speculation and fan disappointment.

Reports are rife that the shooting for Don 3, which was supposed to start in August, has been delayed because Farhan wants to concentrate on his acting role in another project first.

According to a report from Peepingmoon.com, another factor contributing to the delay of Don 3 is the unfinished script. Farhan Akhtar, along with Pushkar-Gayatri (known for Vikram Vedha), is working on the script. They need additional time to ensure that it matches the standards set by the previous films and effectively presents a modernized version of Don for today’s audience.
