Salman Khan sparked rumors of his next film, ‘The Bull,’ being shelved and his exit from the project. However, a recent update sheds light on the action film’s status.
India Today reports that the Karan Johar-Salman Khan collaboration remains intact, with filming scheduled to commence in 2025. The film is reportedly expected to begin shooting in 2025.The screenplay is undergoing revisions, causing the delay from its initial plan of starting production this year and aiming for an Eid 2025 release.

Earlier, a report in Bollywood Hungama stated that Karan Johar requested an extension from Salman until July. This prompted Salman to prioritize his upcoming collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss, slated to begin in May 2024. Despite deliberations on shoot timelines, Karan and Vishnu couldn’t confirm, leading Salman to inform Karan of his decision to withdraw from the project courteously.

Salman attributed the recurring delays to fate, prompting him to propose moving on from the film. According to a bystander cited in the report, Salman expressed, “Destiny doesn’t seem to favor this film, so let’s move forward.” Karan is now considering alternative ideas for a collaboration with Salman.

According to Salman Khan’s discussion with Zoom, he mentioned his involvement in multiple upcoming projects including ‘The Bull,’ followed by releases like ‘Dabangg,’ ‘Kick,’ and a film by Sooraj Bharjatya. ‘The Bull’ is speculated to be directed by Vishnu Vardhanas previously indicated by Karan in an interview.
