Athiya Shetty has become the latest Bollywood actress to find herself surrounded by pregnancy rumours. Unlike the other stars, who have the paparazzi on baby bump watch, rumours about the actress being pregnant with her first child began doing the rounds when her dad, Suniel Shetty hinted at the possibility of becoming a grandfather soon.
Amidst the chatter surrounding her pregnancy, Athiya fuelled speculation when she posted a throwback photo of herself from her childhood days.The actress took to Instagram to post a monochrome picture of herself, and captioned it as, “Cute but scorpio”.

While fellow industry members reacted to the adorable picture, netizens couldn’t help but speculate that her dad Suniel let the cat out of the bag. It didn’t take long for people to connect the dots and flood Athiya’s post with comments. One user wrote, “Cchota king aane waala hai (a little king is on the way)”. Another commented, “I think Athiya is pregnant.”

Amid the speculation, Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty commented, “This is what I have had to deal with for 28 years.”
Actress Malvika Mohanan simply reacted to the post with a laughter emoticon.
Athiya Shetty tied the knot with cricketer KL Rahul on January 23, 2023, in a private ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse, attended by close friends and family.
