Crew box office collection day 6: Kriti Sanon, Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer slows down but stays steady | Hindi Movie News

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Critic I say and Tabu starrer Crew made a splash at the box office with an impressive opening weekend, raking in Rs 30 crore. The film’s initial success was fueled by the star power of its leading ladies and positive audience response.
However, the movie faced a 60 per cent decline in collections on its first Monday, signaling a typical post-weekend drop.This trend continued with a further decrease in earnings on Tuesday, gradually slowing down the pace at the box office.
According to Sacnilk, Crew is expected to earn Rs 3.25 crore on Wednesday, maintaining a steady flow of revenue despite the weekday slump. The film recorded an overall 11.60 per cent Hindi occupancy on Wednesday, contributing to its 6-day total collections of Rs 40.70 crore.

Industry analysts suggest that Crew is on track to be a success and could even achieve Hit status. The first week’s earnings are estimated to reach 43-44 crore nett.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, Crew features Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti as air “bada**” air hostesses. From stealing peanut boxes meant for flights to planning to earn a lot of money and raising the glam quotient, the trio has grabbed eyeballs. The film, made under Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network banners, was released on March 29.
