Pankaj Tripathi speaks about his evolution after portraying Atal Bihari Vajpayee; says it made him more democratic from within |

Pankaj Tripathiacclaimed for his versatile portrayals on screen, recently reflected on his profound admiration for Shri Atal Bihari VajpayeeIndia’s revered statesman and former Prime Minister. Released on January 19, Pankaj’s transformation as Atal ji for the OTT project left everyone stunned. However, what left the actor in awe, were the changes he noticed after bringing the character of the former prime minister on the screen.
Though he never met him in person, it was his honour to be a part of his rallies, Pankaj Tripathi revealed in an interview.The rallies taught him about leadership, effective communication, and the way to connect with people. He highlighted the art of Atal ji where he could inspire several people by his mere words and deeds.

Reflecting on the impact of playing Shri Atal Bihari VajpayeePankaj added that he learned so many things, right from his love for the nation to the talent of bringing people together. Atal ji’s quote – “We want peace to last forever,” left an inedible mark on Tripathi’s heart. He said that playing the Vajpayee ji on the screen changed his perspective not just towards politics but also towards life.

He added that he had turned into a better person in terms of sympathy, empathy, and compassion. He feels from the inside he is more democratic now he would not dislike people based on their criticism, as he he now understands and respects the freedom of everyone. He mentioned that if now anyone would come up to him and say they didn’t like his movie, the actor would not hold a grudge against the person.
