While Bhagnani attempted to provide a positive outlook, stating that the actor’s delay was followed by completing the shoot upon arrival on set, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinhaexpressed dissatisfaction with the timing of the interview.Sinha added, “I don’t recall such an incident, and I was responsible for coordinating Govinda’s film shoots.”
Elaborating further, he added, “Even if he has been late for 2-3 hours in day, it must have been because of health reasons or delay in flight. And even Vashu Bhagnani ji has admitted that even if Govinda ji was late, he completed his work on time. We all respect Vashu sir a lot. We have worked a lot with him during our initial days. I have been a link between actors and producers all these years. It doesn’t make sense for him to say all these things now after all these years. If he has any issues, we are ready to sit down with him and work it out.”
Shashi also mentioned that Vashu Bhagnani recently invited Govinda to watch the new film ‘Bad Miyan Chote Miyan,’ but Govinda couldn’t attend due to his busy campaign schedule.

Sinha also highlighted, “While some may argue that Govinda’s success in the film depended on Amitabh Bachchanit was actually Mr Bachchan who suggested to me and Sheetal Jain at a Delhi event to synchronize schedules and collaborate. The chemistry on screen speaks for itself, making ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ a memorable film. I personally ensured Govinda’s punctuality and respected Mr Bachchan’s work ethic.”
