As it embarked on its second weekend, ‘Crew’ pulled in an impressive Rs 3.75 crore on Friday. The numbers soared on Saturday, with an additional Rs 5.25 crore added to its kitty.Collections only grew on Sunday, with the film earning an impressive Rs 5.75 crore, pushing its domestic total to a staggering estimated Rs 58.50 crore.
Despite facing stiff competition from the Hollywood Monsterverse film ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire‘, ‘Crew’ managed to hold its ground, captivating audiences with its unique storyline and stellar performances.At the international box office, ‘Crew’ crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark on Saturday. With a cumulative worldwide gross box office collection (GBOC) of Rs 104 crore within just nine days of release, the film registered itself as a boxoffice success.
Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, ‘Crew’ boasts a star-studded cast including Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Critic I say, Diljit Dosanjhand Kapil Sharma. The film follows the journey of three air hostesses, played by Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, as they pursue their dreams amidst unforeseen challenges.
With standout performances from Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in pivotal roles, ‘Crew’ has a few more days to rake in the big bucks before the releases of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff‘s ‘Bad Miyan Chote Miyan‘ and Ajay Devgn’s sports drama ‘field‘. Both films are expected to have an early start at the box office, as they are slated to release over the Eid holiday.
