She said, “I didn’t want it coming out anywhere and the paparazzi culture had just started. I remember our first few dates were only in the car. We would keep driving around. It was great fun.”
When asked if she ever wondered if men were pursuing her because of her celebrity status before marriage, Vidya Balan admitted that occasionally she did.
“I am not a very social person so I wasn’t really putting myself out there. I wasn’t really meeting people but I have to admit that when I met someone for the first time, I would wonder if they are interested in me Or in ‘Vidya Balan,’” said the actress.
However, she revealed that there was no confusion after she met Siddharth Roy Kapur. The actress said, “But when I met Siddharth, I didn’t feel that from the word Go. I think it’s because he is also very well-accomplished and a secure man, so he was just looking at me as a prospective girlfriend. So it was easy there.”
On the work front, Vidya Balan is eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’.
