Despite high expectations, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff‘s action thriller Bad Miyan Chote Miyan faced a challenging start at the box office, with a noticeable jump of only around 15 per cent on its first Saturday. This increase in footfall, while positive, may not be sufficient to recover from the movie’s underwhelming performance during its initial days, especially considering its production costs.
According to Sacnilk, early estimates suggest that the directorial venture of Ali Abbas Zafar earned approximately Rs 8.50-9 crore net on its third day, bringing the total to around 31.75 crore within three days of release.
Ideally, the film should have maintained a collection similar to its opening day to achieve a weekend total closer to 50 crore. However, it now appears that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will fall considerably short of that target.

The opening weekend figures are expected to reach only around Rs 40-43 crore net, a disappointing result considering the scale and budget of the movie. The performance on Monday will provide a clearer picture of the film’s trajectory and its potential lifetime collection.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan features Akshay and Tiger performing death-defying stunts and high-octane action sequences. They play two elite soldiers who embark on a mission to recover a stolen AI weapon. Prithiviraj Sukumaran plays the role of the antagonist Kabir in the movie. It also features Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F and Sonakshi Sinha.
The film, which was also released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Zafar.
