Days after Salman Khan greeted fans from the balcony of his Bandra home, gunshots were fired at his home. The incident occured in the early hours of April 14 and reports suggest that two individuals on a motorcycle fired three shots into the air.
ETimes has learnt that security has been beefed up at the actor’s apartment, while the atmosphere at the Khan resience is tense.A source told ETimes, “There is unsaid tension inside the Khan household. He has to be extra cautious from now on as this incident has scared everybody in Bollywood.” Salman Khan, who was seen at an Iftaar party may avoid direct public appearances going ahead.

Mumbai Police have launched an investigation, examining CCTV footage to catch the culprits. The incident has been reported at Bandra Police Station, with the process of filing an FIR currently underway.
It was also reported that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde spoke to Khan over a phone call and has suggested increasing the actor’s security. Curious fans have also gathered at the spot with numerous bystanders. Videos from the spot suggest that Mumbai Police ACP and Encounter Specialist Daya Nayak, were spotted arriving at the actor’s residence to inspect the scene.
On the occasion of Eid this year, Salman Khan had announced his next movie ‘Sikandar’, which is scheduled to go on floors in mid-June. Apart from this, he will also return to host Bigg Boss.
