Film producer Sandeep Singh has made startling allegations against Mouni Royonce described as one of his closest friends. Sandeep claimed that Mouni cut ties with him following his involvement in a controversy related to the late Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death.
In an interview with Times Now, Sandeep revealed that he had initially offered his directorial debut, Safed, to both Mouni Roy and Ankita Lokhandewho had expressed enthusiasm for the script.However, he alleged that they backed out, possibly due to the controversy surrounding him.
Expressing his disappointment, Sandeep said, “I’m deeply hurt by Mouni Roy. She was one of my best friends, she used to follow me on Instagram. We would hang out together and go for lunches and dinners. Whenever she wanted to meet a big filmmaker, I would go with her. I even met her husband Suraj Nambiar long before they got married. When the Sushant Singh Rajput controversy erupted, she was the first one who backed out and unfollowed me.”

Sandeep further claimed that Mouni did not reply to his texts and omitted inviting him to her wedding. Despite this, he stated, “But I want to tell Mouni that if something goes wrong with her, I’ll be the first person to go to her.”
The controversy surrounding Sandeep Singh arose in the aftermath of Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic passing in 2020. Questions about Sandeep’s relationship with the late actor were raised, leading to scrutiny from Sushant’s family and backlash from fans.
