On Friday, police issued a Lookout Circular (LoC) against Anmol Bishnoithe younger sibling of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoiregarding the shooting incident outside actor Salman Khan‘s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra on April 14.
According to police sources, Anmol Bishnoi was recently spotted in Portugal. The IP address of his Facebook post, in which he claimed responsibility for the shooting incident, was traced back to Kenya.

The official further mentioned that the police are considering obtaining custody of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is presently detained in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat.

Additionally, they are contemplating invoking the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in connection with the case.

The Mumbai Police‘s Crime Branch wrote to the Home Ministry requesting a lookout circular (LOC) against Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, a day before. Anmol Bishnoi attracted police attention after his Facebook post claiming responsibility for the shooting at Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence.
On Thursday, Mumbai Police apprehended two individuals, Sonu Subhash Chander (37) and Anuj Thapan (32), from Punjab. They stand accused of furnishing firearms to the assailants who fired at Bollywood icon Salman Khan’s residence on April 14. The duo allegedly maintained ties with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

On Monday, authorities retrieved a firearm and live cartridges, utilized in the shooting incident outside Bollywood luminary Salman Khan’s abode, from Gujarat’s Surat city’s Tapi River. Officials indicated ongoing efforts to locate another firearm. Two detainees, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), disclosed during questioning that they disposed of the weapon into the river while escaping to Bhuj aboard a train.
Reports suggest that the firearm employed in the shooting at Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence was provided to the assailants merely a few hours before the incident occurred on Sunday morning.
