‘Yodha’ directed by Sagar Ambre, was mounted on a budget of Rs 55 crores and the movie starred Sidharth Malhotra in the lead. The cinematography was done by Jishnu Bhattacharjee and the editing section was handled by Shivkumar V Panicker.
Inspired by the experiences of Surender Katyal, portrayed by Ronit Roy, ‘Yodha’ follows the journey of Arun Katyal, played by Sidharth Malhotra, who works for Yodha, a specialized task force funded by the Indian government, specializing in high-stakes rescue operations. However, Arun’s commitment to his job strains his relationship with his wife, Priyamvada Katyal, portrayed by Raashii Khanna, who serves as the Prime Minister’s secretary and is apprehensive about her husband’s risky profession.
