Priyanka Chopra missed this year’s Met Gala as she was filming for the much-awaited film‘Heads Of State‘ and she has finally wrapped the same. The actress marked the occasion by giving a special gift to her co-star, Idris Elba.
Following the wrap-upIdris took to his official Instagram handle to share a picture of the gift along with a handwritten note from Priyanka.The special gift was elegantly wrapped in ivory and gold paper. He tagged Priyanka in the Instagram story and expressed gratitude for her thoughtful gesture.
Recently, Priyanka announced the film’s wrap and delighted fans with a cheerful video. The clip featured her daughter Maltese alongside the film’s crew, and Priyanka accompanied it with a heartfelt note expressing her affection for the project.
Sharing the video, Priyanka wrote, “And it’s a wrap. It’s been a year. well, a lot happened but here we are. Tonight I wrapped on a set that was always so full of laughter and professionalism. That rare combination doesn’t happen always… This movie was a breeze because the cast and crew came prepared with their A game, every day. It’s been an honour to work with some legends in our business on this one. Hope y’all have as much fun watching it as we did making it. Heads of state will be on @primevideo… when u ask me? Above my pay grade. lol. Gratitude.”
Apart from this movie, Priyanka is set to star in Frank E Flowers’ upcoming film, ‘The Bluff,’ alongside Karl Urban. In Bollywood, she has an exciting project in the pipeline – Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Lee Zara,’ co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
