Actor Allu Arjun and MLA Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy are embroiled in a case for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct in Andhra Pradesh‘s Nandyala ahead of the state elections.

According to the report by India Today, a case was registered against them for permitting a large public gathering at MLA Reddy’s residence without prior permission, leading to a breach of the Model Code of Conduct.

Allegedly, MLA Reddy invited Allu Arjun for the gathering on Saturday, prompting the filing of the case for disobeying the poll code.

The FIR was initiated under Section 144, which is enforced in Andhra Pradesh as the state prepares for polling scheduled for Monday (May 13). Deputy Tehsildar P Ramachandra Rao from Nandyala Rural, tasked with overseeing elections in the Nandyala constituency, registered the case.
Talking to the press, Allu Arjun clarified his visit to Nandyala during the gathering, stating that he was there to assist his friend and did not endorse any political party. Amidst the fanfare surrounding his meeting with MLA Reddy, Allu Arjun emphasized that his support extends to friends in various fields, without implying allegiance to any political faction.
“I came here by myself. Whenever my friends need help, I’ll be there for them, regardless of their field. But it doesn’t mean I’m supporting any political party,” remarked Allu Arjun to reporters in Nandyala.
On the work front, Allu Arjun has the most awaited ‘Pushpa 2’ releasing on August 15.
