In a video shared by RCB on their social media handles, Virat sat down with Mr Nagsa character played by TV presenter Danish Saitfor a light-hearted chat.During their conversation, Nags congratulated Virat on becoming a father again and asked about his newborn son. Virat replied, “Baby is good and healthy. Everything is fine. Thank you.”
When Nags joked about one child for IPL and one for WPL, referring to the Indian Premier League and the Women’s Premier League, Virat talked about his daughter Vamika‘s interest in cricket. “Daughter has picked up a bat and she is really enjoying swinging the bat. But I’m not sure. It’s their choice at the end of the day,” Virat shared.

Regarding his retirement plansVirat recently mentioned, “It’s very simple. I think as a sportsman, we do have an end date to our careers. So I am just going backwards. I don’t want to finish my career thinking: ‘Oh what if I have done this on that particular day because I can’t keep going on and on forever. So It’s just about not leaving any undone business behind and not having any regrets later, which I am very sure I won’t.”
During the Royal Gala Dinner in Bengaluru, the 35-year-old cricketer also revealed that he plans to take a long break after he announces his retirement. “Once I am done, I will be gone, you won’t see me for a while. So I want to give my everything till the time I play, and that’s the only thing that keeps me going,” he said.
A couple of days ago, Virat and Anushka sent gift hampers to paparazzi, expressing gratitude towards them for respecting the privacy of their daughter Vamika and son Akaay. Enclosed with the gift was a heartfelt note that read, ‘Thank you for respecting the privacy of our kids and for always being cooperative! Love, Anushka and Virat’.”
Virat and Anushka tied the knot on December 11, 2017 in Italy. The duo was blessed with Vamika on January 11, 2021.
