In an interview with a Japanese publication, Park Hyung Sik not only reflected on his role in the K-drama ‘Soundtrack #1’ but also shared his awe at witnessing his dear friend V’s meteoric rise to global stardom. He marveled at the success of BTS, expressing pride and admiration for how the septet has transcended borders and captivated audiences worldwide with their Korean music. “Not only has BTS received awards at prestigious awards ceremonies in the States, but they also got all non-Koreans to sing along to their songs, which were in Korean. It was amazing to witness that”, Park Hyung Sik mused.
Despite V’s success and global recognition, Park Hyung Sik remains steadfast in his conviction that his friend has remained unaltered by the trappings of fame. Recalling their initial encounter on the set of the drama ‘Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth’, Park fondly reminisced, “To me, Taehyung is still my cute younger brother. He hasn’t changed from when we first met. In terms of work, he is a professional, but he is usually an ordinary boy”.
Whenever Park Hyung Sik and V come together with other members of Wooga Squad, whether for work or leisure, they invariably share joyous moments, evident in the candid photos and cherished memories they generously share with their adoring fans.
