Actor Pradeep Rawatwho was once part of Salman Khan’s inner circle, witnessed firsthand Salman’s break-ups with Somy Ali and Sangeeta Bijlani. During his recent interaction, Pradeep shared insights into how these break-ups affected the actors and why he chose to gradually distance himself from Salman’s close-knit group.
Pradeep told Siddharth Kannan, “Salman Khan wasn’t affected much.Somy Ali was deeply impacted by their break-up. Salman is so good-looking that he doesn’t lack options. They were my friends, and we would sit together, eat together… both of them shared their side of the story with me.”
When asked about Sangeeta Bijlani’s reaction to her break-up with Salman, Pradeep commented, “Obviously, Sangeeta was more affected. Who wouldn’t be, losing someone like Salman?” Addressing whether Salman was a heartbreakerPradeep said, “Sometimes things happen unknowingly, and there were misunderstandings. Salman is a very clean and neat-hearted person; he cannot hurt anyone.”

Despite being a close friend and confidant of Salman, Pradeep decided to distance himself from Salman’s inner circle. He explained, “I didn’t meet Salman for years because I thought if I stayed with him for a long time, his bodyguard Shera wouldn’t have a place, as I would end up as his bodyguard. I felt I wouldn’t achieve anything if I remained in that comfort zone. So, I slowly came out of Salman’s inner circle.”
While Sangeeta and Salman remained friends after their break-up, the relationship between Salman and Somy Ali deteriorated, with Somy later accusing Salman of physical abuse.
