During the same interview, Madhu shared her first meeting with Nick Jonas. She recounted that when Nick visited India, he took her out to lunch while Priyanka was not around. Nick inquired about the qualities she desired in a partner for Priyanka. After she listed the qualities, Nick confidently took her hand and said, “I am that guy. Can I be that person? I promise that nothing from your list will be left unchecked.” Madhu Chopra expressed her amazement at his response and said she immediately loved him for it.
