Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha celebrated their union with a lavish Punjabi wedding on September 24, 2023, in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The couple’s nuptials were the talk of the town. Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra‘s mother Madhu Choprawho was a part of the grand event, shared her thoughts on the newlyweds in an interview with Filmygyan.
Madhu expressed her admiration for Raghav, calling him a “biba bacha” (decent boy).She praised his qualities, stating, “Arrey bada badhiya, biba bacha hai (He is a very nice, decent boy). Highly educated, well-spoken, English bolo, Hindi bolo (Whether you speak in English with him or in Hindi)… (he is) fun and has a sense of humour.”
Madhu also highlighted the compatibility between Parineeti and Raghav, describing them as a ‘perfect’ couple. She observed an instant connection between the two, which she believes is a foundation for their strong relationship.
The couple’s wedding was a vibrant affair, characterized by traditional Punjabi customs and festivities. A day after the ceremony, Parineeti and Raghav shared their official wedding album on Instagram. Raghav looked regal in a white sherwani set, while Parineeti dazzled in a cream and champagne Manish Malhotra lehenga, embodying elegance and grace.

Madhu, who attended the wedding, was later spotted by paparazzi at the airport. She spoke fondly of the event and revealed that the couple had requested no gifts, emphasizing a simple exchange of blessings. “Bahut badhiya… Unhone sab mana kar diya, no lena-dena, bas ashirwad (The wedding was great. They asked us to not gift anything, there was no exchange of gifts, just gave them my blessings),” Madhu said.
When asked about Parineeti as a bride, Madhu couldn’t contain her admiration. “Waise hi khubsoorat hai, aur achi lag rahi thi (She is beautiful as is, so as a bride she looked even more beautiful),” she remarked.

Regarding Priyanka Chopra’s absence at the wedding, Madhu clarified that Priyanka was unable to attend due to work commitments. “Woh kam kar rahi hai (She is working),” she explained. Despite Priyanka’s absence, Madhu was present for all the pre-wedding and wedding festivities in both Udaipur and Delhi, ensuring that family love and support were always abundant.
Parineeti and Raghav’s wedding has indeed marked a significant chapter in their lives, celebrated with joy, love, and the blessings of their family and friends.
