Sharmin Segal praises Heeramandi co-stars, calls Aditi Rao Hydari ‘caring’, Manisha Koirala ‘fashionable’, Sonakshi Sinha ‘calm’

Sharmin Segalwho plays the character Alamzeb in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s debut web series The Constitution: The Diamond Bazaar, shared some intriguing insights about her experience on the set and her co-stars.
During a fun game segment, Sharmin was asked to attribute qualities to her Heeramandi co-stars, which include Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydariand Sonakshi Sinha.When asked about who was always on their phone during the shoot, Sharmin told Pinkvilla, “Nobody. There’s too much to do on a set, especially as an actor, there’s way too much to do so there was no time to be on your phone.”
Sharmin also revealed a bit about her own personality on set, admitting that she was the ‘mastikhor’ (mischievous) and the ‘biggest foodie’. She shared, “My favorite foods are pizza and cake,” highlighting her playful and relatable side.
Discussing the work ethic on set, Sharmin mentioned that the dedication of the cast and crew meant that breaks were rare. “No one used to take breaks because they were dedicated to finishing the work,” she said, emphasizing the commitment to the project.
When it came to describing her co-stars, Sharmin had high praise for Aditi Rao Hydari, calling her the most caring person on set. She also described Sonakshi Sinha as ‘calm’. She also complimented Manisha Koirala on her impeccable style, stating that she had the ‘best fashion sense’.
Additionally, Sharmin highlighted the wit of her uncle and called Bhansali ‘wittier’.
‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ has garnered immense love and attention, and fans are eagerly anticipating its second season.
