Father’s Day 2024: Sonakshi Sinha shares a special message for dad Shatrughan Sinha, calls him ‘pillar of strength’

On Father’s Day, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinhawho is set to tie the knot with fiancé Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, posted a beautiful message for her father, politician and actor Shatrughan Sinha.
The actress took to her Instagram Stories and shared a heartfelt message for Shatrughan along with a picture featuring herself all smiling with his dad. Sonakshi called her father the ‘pillar’ of her strength and also added the tag ‘#1 Dad’ sticker on the picture.She captioned the post: “Happy fathers day to my pillar of strength” along with three heart emojis.

Last week during a conversation with the Times of India, Shatrughan Sinha commented on the rumours regarding Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding. “I am neither confirming nor denying her wedding news. Time will tell. She will always have my blessings,” he shared. The veteran actor further added, “Sonakshi is the apple of my eye. She is my only daughter and very close to me. I am a proud father because, over the years, she has also grown as an actor. From Lootere to Dahaad to now Heeramandi, she has proved to be a fantastic actor.”
Shatrughan further stated, “If my daughter is getting married, I will give her my blessings and support her decision and choice. Sonakshi has the right to choose her companion, and I will be the happiest father on her wedding day. I will always wish her the best… ek hi toh beti hai meri.”
According to their leaked wedding invitation, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been dating for seven years. The duo has not yet responded to the leaked wedding invitation or the wedding rumours.
